The first time you run the software you will be prompted to choose the folder where AlarmWiz will be installed and you will be prompted to save that location in your start menu. To manually setup time synchronization on a server, you will have to turn off your anti-virus software, turn off your firewalls, open up your TCP/IP properties for the server you wish to synchronize, check the box "Use NTP" and click ok. For the server that you wish to use as a time server, you can either set the time using the "Enter the server IP address and the date and time" box, or you can click on the "Configure a Time Server" button and follow the instructions to add the address of the server you wish to use as a time server. After a time server has been configured you can check the settings to verify that they are correct. When the time server is correctly configured, you can click the "Synchronize Clock" button to initiate the synchronize the system clock. AlarmWiz will synchronize your system clock with the time server on the network. It can take up to 15 minutes for the system clock to synchronize with the time server.
